James Loudermilk Obituary

On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, James Anthony “Tony” Loudermilk, loving father and friend, passed away at the age of 65 in Idaho Springs CO.

Tony was born in Hollywood, FL to Peggy Jean Hunter and James Keith Loudermilk on December 22, 1956. Tony joined the Air Force at a young age and served our country for 3 years. After his time in the service, he held a variety of jobs including airplane mechanic, auto mechanic, miner, contractor, and jack of all trades. Tony was a father to 4 children, 3 daughters and 1 son. Tony had a passion for life and lived each day as if it were his last. He loved the outdoors and you would often find him in the creek prospecting for gold. His love for life and adventure brought him all around the country where he made many friends. He was known for his infectious laugh, tall tales, smiles and generosity. He had a way of finding the most broken souls of people and finding a way to give them life and inspiration.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Cindy Gibson and his brother Brian Loudermilk. He is survived by his daughters, Jody Becerril and Jamie Loudermilk, son James Anthony Loudermilk, 8 grandchildren (Mason, Chael, Bane, Zadira, Zarah, Chance, Elizabeth, and Quinn), his brother John Loudermilk and sisters Lisa Smith, Melinda Falin, and Laura Beams.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at The Yeti Saloon in Idaho Springs CO @ 2 pm. Donations can be sent to the American Heart Association in honor of Tony.
