G.E.'s journey began working alongside her father, Dale Finch, in a doughnut shop. Later on, she found her calling as an egg inspector and ultimately retired as a red meat inspector for the USDA.
Outside of her career, G.E. had a multitude of hobbies that brought her immense happiness. She enjoyed biking, gardening, and taking long walks with her beloved dogs, Sally and Maggie. Woodworking, road trips, beer tours, and attending concerts were also among her favorite pastimes. G.E. cherished spending time with her family and friends, whether it was at the downtown coffee shop, the farmer's market, or the county fair. Her interests extended to astronomy, rock collecting, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. One of her cherished moments was sitting on the front porch, sharing a beer and laughter with her brother, son, and many friends.
G.E. leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Williams; her brother, David Finch; her son, Jacob Holder (Cobb), and his wife, DeeDee; her son, Steven Holder; her grandchildren, little Jacob, Noah, Ashlee, Chance, and Emma; her nieces, Heather Finch and Jamie Finch; her nephew, J.D., and his wife, Tracey; and her nephew, Mike Finch, along with many great nieces and nephews.
